Welcome to Wonderfully Made, the disability ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Our mission is to partner with families and provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to know Christ, grow in their faith, build authentic relationships, and use their God-given gifts within the body of Christ. We believe disability ministry is not separate from the church. It is an essential part of the church. Every individual is wonderfully made by God, created with purpose, and has a place to belong. Through specialized support, intentional discipleship, and meaningful inclusion, we seek to help every person and family experience the love of Christ and the fellowship of the local church.

Wonderfully Made meets in Rooms 005 and 007, located on the main level near the playground.
Parking
Families may park in the main-level parking lot beside the Wonderfully Made classroom entrance. Guests should look for the designated Wonderfully Made parking signs outside the classroom doors.

Who We Serve
Wonderfully Made serves individuals with disabilities and their families. We recognize that disability impacts the entire family, and our desire is to support each family member as they grow in their relationship with Christ and become connected to the life of the church. We welcome kids, teens, and adults with a variety of support needs. Each person is created by God with purpose, and our ministry exists to provide care, discipleship, support, and meaningful connection within the church family.

What to Expect
From the moment you arrive, our goal is to help your family feel welcomed, supported, and connected. Before your first visit, we encourage you to complete our New Family Intake Form so we can learn more about your loved one and prepare to serve your family well. When you arrive, a member of our Wonderfully Made team will greet you, help you check in, and show you where your child, teen, or adult family member will meet. Our team will take time to answer questions, discuss any accommodations or support needs, and help everyone feel comfortable in the new environment. Depending on your loved one’s needs, they may participate in one of the following environments:
- A specialized classroom
- An inclusive classroom with support
- A buddy-supported environment
Our volunteers use visual supports, structured routines, sensory tools, and individualized strategies to help each person engage, learn, and participate meaningfully.

Attend worship with confidence
When you arrive on campus, continue through the parking lot toward the playground area. Families visiting Wonderfully Made may park in the main-level parking lot located directly beside the classroom entrance. Look for the designated Wonderfully Made parking signs outside the classroom doors. A member of our team will be available to greet you, help your family check in, and answer any questions you may have.
First-time families will be asked to sign in and provide current contact information. This allows us to communicate with you during your visit if needed and helps us better serve your family in the future.
Once your loved one is settled in the Wonderfully Made classroom or connected with a designated buddy, you can attend the worship service knowing they are safe, supported, and cared for.
Ministry Environment
and Support
Your loved one will be cared for by trained volunteers in a structured and supportive environment. We provide sensory supports, individualized accommodations, and intentional discipleship opportunities while creating space for each person to learn about Jesus, worship their Savior, and build relationships with others. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to communicate any needs, concerns, or updates with the classroom teacher or directly with the Wonderfully Made Director. Communication may happen in person, by phone, or by text.
