Children's Ministry

The children’s ministry is designed to help parents as they strive to bring up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Bible-teaching Sunday School classes, children’s choirs, children’s prayer meetings, Bible memory programs, summer camps, special outings and activities, and much more are planned to help children grow in their Christian lives and become the men and women God desires them to be.

Tabernacle hosts an AWANA Club on Wednesday evenings from Fall through Spring. It begins at 6:30 p.m. and concludes at 8:15 p.m. The Puggles (ages 2-3 years), the Cubbies (ages 4-5 years), the Sparks (K5-2nd grade), and T&T "Truth and Training" (grades 3-6) make up the Awana program. There are three sessions in each club meeting:

1. Handbook Time: When children say and study verses

2. Council Time: When children are challenged with lessons from the Word of God

3. Game Time: When the children play and exercise the rules of good sportsmanship.

Each club has it's own uniform and clubbers may earn badges and rewards for learning Scripture verses and answering questions related to those verses. All children are welcome.
